Children's Day 2024
Om Janahithaya English Medium School arala celebrated Children's Day in the school auditorium. School Founder Shantharama Shetty, Trustees Athitha Shetty, Vanitha Shetty, Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty, Administrative Officer Raksha Shetty, Headmaster Mahesh Shetty, SPL Pranvi P Alva were laid Flowers at the Nehru's portrait. Teacher Thejaswini talked about the importance of Children's Day. Students and teachers were vocalised for the song. Prizes were distributed to students who won talent fountains, sports and art competitions. The presiding moderator Ranjan Kumar Shetty said, "Students are the future generation of our nation, They play an important role in building a great India which is very important." A dance program was held by teachers and non-teachers. Teacher Shruthi welcomed. Teacher Mamata B.V. felicitated the gathering. Teacher Reshma Kotian presented the program. A special lunch was arranged for the children.

Deepavali Celebration
Om Janahithaya English Medium School Arala, celebrated Deepavali with shower of happiness. The founder Shantarama Shetty,Trustees, Athithashetty and Vanitha Shetty, Headmaster Mahesh Shetty were present. Prathyush of class 4 ,spoke about the importance of Diwali celebrations. Class 10 student Trisha prayed. 9th class student Sindhu welcomed, greeted and narrated the program. Teachers and students were present on the occasion. The Dipavali singing program was held by the students. Teachers Mamatha B V and Neetha coordinated the program.

Kannada Rajyostava
69th Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated here at Om Janahithaya English Medium School, Arala. Shantarama Shetty, founder of the school, hoisted the flag. The Guests ShanthaRama Shetty, Athitha Shetty, Vanitha Shetty (Trustees), Head Master Mahesh Shetty offered flowers to mother Bhuvaneshwari.Teacher Veena gave a speech about the Rajyotsava. A dance, group song was sung by the students. Class 10 student Trisha prayed and 7th class student Dikshith welcomed the gathering. The program was Narrated by Pranvi P Alva. Teachers Revathi and Shruthi coordinated the program. Students and Teachers were present at the occasion.

Gandhi Jayanti / Shastri Jayanti Celebration
Om Janhithaya English Medium School Arala celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi, Lal Bahudur Shastri Jayanthi and Swachhata Hi Seva program here. Headmaster Mahesh Shetty, coordinators Mamata B.V and Mamata N, school leader Pranvi Alva were the chief guests. Dikshith of class 7 gave a speech on the importance of Gandhi Jayanthi and Hriddhi Shetty of class 9 on cleanliness. School leader Pranvi P Alva welcomed the guests. 10th class student Thanvi thanked. Chaya managed the programme. Cleanliness by scout guide students and pantheism prayer by all teachers was held.

Ganesha Chathurthi Celebration
Om Janahithaya English Medium School Arala Ganesh Chaturthi celebration was held on 09-09-2024 . School founder Shantharama Shetty inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty ,Trustees Atitha shetty and Vanitha shetty, Administrative Officer Raksha Shetty, Head Master Mahesh Shetty were present .Bharatnatyam ,Kunitha Bhajan was performed by the students.Vidisha of class 7 explained the importance of Chauthi. Kushi Rai of class 7 welcomed and Pavani of class 7 gave felicitations to the dignitaries.Shravanth of class 4th prayed and Sindhu of class 9 narrated the program. Teacher Vidisha Shetty was the program compositor. All the teachers and students were present in the program.

Throwball Tournament
Vamadapadavu Zone High School Throwball Tournament was held at Om Jana Hithaya Stadium in collaboration with School Education Department, Block Education Officer's Office Bantwala and Om Janahitaya English Medium School Arala. School founder Shantarama Shetty inaugurated the tournament. Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty presided. Nodal Officer Chinnappa K, Physical Education Teachers Association Honorary President Sukanya Ratna, Secretary Janardhan, Primary Teachers Association President Jayaram, Resource Person Premalatha, School Development Committee President Jagdish Alva, PTA President Padmanabha Madiwala, School Development Committee Member Praveen Alva, Trustees Vishwanath Shetty, Athitha Shetty, Vanitha Shetty, Administrative officer Raksha Shetty, Head Master Mahesh Shetty, Physical Education Teacher Prakash were present. Chaitra, a school teacher, greeted the dignitaries present. Teacher Mamata BV narrated the program. 21 teams participated. Prizes were distributed to the winners at the evening ceremony.

Teacher's Day Celebration
Teacher's Day was celebrated at Om Janahithaya English Medium School Arala. School Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty said, "Billions of salutes to all the teachers who are involved in nation-building." Administrative Officer Raksha Shetty, Head master Mahesh Shetty and all the teachers were present. The teachers were felicitated by the school management and by the class 10 students. All the teachers were treated with various games, raffles and entertainment. Students involved in cultural activities like dancing and singing. Students Thrisha and Krupa prayed. Dhruti Melanta of class 10 welcomed and Chaya of class 10 thanked the gathering. Hriddhi Shetty of 9th class narrated the program. SPL Pranvi P Alva and members of the School Parliament assisted the program and entertained the teachers with various activities.

Rakshabandhan Celebration
Om Janahithaya English Medium School, Arala where Rakshabandhan was celebrated on 19-08-2024 Monday. School Headmaster Mahesh Shetty and teachers were present. The students celebrated by tying raksha to the students. Dhruti Melanta of class 10 told about the importance of the ritual. Lithika of class 9 thanked the gatherings and Sindhu of class 9 narrated the program. Teachers Nayana and Reshma assisted.

78th Independence Day Celebration
78^th Independence Day celebrations were celebrated at Om Janhithaya English Medium School, Arala. Vishwanath Shetty, trustee of Om Janahitaya Sansthan Trust, hoisted the flag as the chief guest. President of PTA , Padmanabha Madiwala, who was presiding, said, "We have got freedom due to the sacrifices of elders and the role of students is important in building a safe country." Founder Shantharama shetty,Trustees Athitha shetty , Vanitha Shetty ,Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty, Administrative officer Raksha Shetty, Headmaster Mahesh Shetty were present. March past was conducted by school scout guide team and students. School leader Pranvi P Alva explained the significance of Day. Patriotic singing was performed by the students. School teachers and non-teachers were present. 9th class student Sindhu welcomed, Hriddhi Shetty MS delivered the felicitation. Lithika Shetty of class 9 narrated the program. AATIDA MINADANA 2024
Om Janhitaya English Medium School Gudde Angady Arala Here on 12-08-2024, a special program of Aati month, "Atida Minadana" was held in the school hall. School founder Shantarama Shetty inaugurated the program, Corrspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty presided over the program. Mangalore University "Tulu Peeta" assistant Prasad Yeyadi as a resource person informed the students about Aati month's traditions, rituals, beliefs, food practices.Folklorist Yamuna poojarthi and herbalist Suresh achar odduru was honoured for their social activities. Trustees Athitha shetty ,Vanitha Shetty, Administrative Officer Raksha Shetty, Head Master Mahesh Shetty were present. Students performed folk songs and dances. A special lunch was also held with special dishes of the month of Aati.

All teachers, non-teachers ,students participated in it. Class 10th and 6th students Trisha , Krupa and Shamiksha prayed. Class 10 student Chaya welcomed. Hemal, a student of 9th class thanked the gathering.Teachers Mamatha BV, Mamatha N, Revathi,Reshma , Poojashree, Usha , Prakash assisted the program.

Inauguration of Scout Guides and Various Clubs
Om Janahithaya English Medium School Arala, Inauguration of Scout Guides and various clubs took place in the school auditorium. Founder Shantaram shetty inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty, who was presiding, "Scout Guides are world renowned for their social service, patriotic discipline, leadership. Our students should also adopt these qualities of Gurus and take the lead in life".Vamadapadavu President of the local organization Anand Acharya, Secretary Sukesh Kumar,Trustees Athitha Shetty ,Vanitha Shetty, Administrative Officer Raksha Shetty, Head master Mahesh Shetty, Scout Master Prakash, Guide Captain Chayana were present.

Thrisha of class 10 prayed God's blessings be upon all ,while Manasvi of class 5 preached the Pledge of Allegiance to the students. 9th class student Lithika welcomed, 7th class student Dikshith gave felicitations to the gathering, 9th class student Sindhu narrated the program. Teachers Shilpa Shetty and Chaithra assisted the program.

Kargil Day and Guru Poornima Celebrations
Om Janhithaya English Medium School Arala, Here Kargil Victory Silver Jubilee celebrations and Guru Purnima celebrations were held in the school Auditorium. Shantarama Shetty, founder of the school, inaugurated the programme. Ranjan Kumar Shetty, the presiding moderator said, "Soldiers who protect the country and teachers who lead the country are to be commended and we are proud of them because of their sacrifice,service and philanthropy. Hriddhi Shetty of class 9 explained about the Kargil Day and Dhrithi Melanta of class 10 shared the importance of Guru Purnima. Krupa of class 6 prayed for grace. Trustees Athitha Shetty, Vanitha Shetty, Administrative officer Raksha Shetty were the chief guests.Teacher Chaitra welcomed and presented the program.Teachers Reshma Kotian and Poojashree assisted.Students performed teacher's foot worship.

International Day of Yoga
The 10th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Om Janahithaya English Medium School, Arala. Shantharama Shetty, the founder of the school, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty labelled that "join hands in building a disease free society by doing yoga".Trustees Atitha Shetty, Vanita Shetty, Administrative officer Raksha Shetty, Head master Mahesh Shetty were present. All the students and teachers participated in the program as per the protocol of the Education Department. A students of class 10 Vaishnavi M ammunje welcomed and Shrinidhi thanked.The program was Narrated by Sinchana of class 10th. Assistance and presentation of Yoga was by Dhrithi Melanta Class 10th. Teacher Prakash and Teacher Usha coordinated the program.

Investiture Ceremony
Om Janahithaya English Medium School Arala, 2024-25 academic year new school assembly and oath taking ceremony took place in the school Auditorium. Founder Shantaram Shetty inaugurated the program. Administrative officer Raksha Shetty, as the chief guest, stated "Represent the country's democratic system in the form of a school parliament". Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty presided. Trustees Athitha Shetty and Vanitha Shetty were present. Head Master Mahesh Shetty administered the oath to the new cabinet. Teacher Chaitra welcomed and Teacher Shwetha greeted, Coordinator Mamatha BV narrated the program. All teachers and students were present in the programme. Physical teacher Prakash assisted.

The opening ceremony of Om Janahitaya English Medium School Arla was held in the school Auditorium .Shantarama Shetty, founder of the school, performed the inauguration. School Development Committee Chairman Jagdish Alva presided. The new school website was launched by the Founder. Trustees Athita Shetty, Vanitha Shetty, Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty, Administrative Officer Raksha Shetty, President of PTA committee Padmanabha Madiwal were present. Headmaster Mahesh Shetty predicted complete information of the academic year. Teacher Vidisha welcomed and teacher Veena thanked. Inauguration of Pre-Primary Section
The new building of the pre-primary section of Om Janahithaya English medium School, Arala was inaugurated by the founder of the school Mr. Shantarama Shetty. Ranjan Kumar Shetty, correspondent of the school, spoke about the valuable education provided by the institution. Trustees Atitha shetty, Vanitha Shetty, Principal Mahesh Shetty were present. Teacher Nayana welcomed and Tejaswini Thanked the gathering. Teacher Shilpa Shetty introduced the teachers. Lavi Mascarehnus narrated the program.

World Environment Day
Om Janhithaya English Medium School Arala celebrated World Environment Day in the school campus. School Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty as the chief guest preached environmental protection to be the duty of all of us and to inculcate it in the student village itself. Head teacher Mahesh Shetty, all teachers and students were present. Teacher Vinuta gave a lecture on the significance of the day. The teacher Sangeetha thanked and narrated the program. Students undertook environmental cleanliness around the school by planting saplings and making the environment litter-free.

School Parliment Election
The school parliament election for the year 2024-25 was held at Om Janhithaya English Medium School Arala. A democratic type of transparent election was held. Each student cast their vote by showing their identity card, signing it, getting a ballot paper, getting an ink mark on their finger and marking infront of the candidate's name. As per the guidance of Head Master Mahesh Shetty, in a process led by Election Officers Mamata BV and Chaitra, the teachers Reshma, Chayana, Shwetha, Shanti ,Usha conducted the voting. Physical teacher Prakash assisted. Correspondent Ranjan Kumar Shetty announced the winners SPL -Pranvi P Alva, ASPL -Yashash D Shetty and congratulated the voting system.
